We were so lucky to come home and find out that they were having a special clam dig this weekend. Here are some pictures of the successful dig. Well, Gayle and I did not get our complete limit but we were not skunked either and we both came home exhausted and with blisters. It was a perfect day at the beach, no wind and warm and sunny.
Yesterday Herm & Dave went to get our clamming license at the local grocery store . He needed to give them a description of the color of my eyes and my weight (I was not with him). He thought that my eyes were brown and the worse part was the weight. He said I am sure she must weigh in at 190 lb but on her drivers license it probably says 145lb. When Gayle and I stopped in at the same store a little later in the day, the checker was telling us about these 2 guys that came into buy a license and how mad his wife would of been if she had heard them. What makes me really mad is that he did not know the color of my eyes. We have been married for 45 years. I did get a small chuckle about the wight because it does say 145 lbs on my license. I guess I need to work on getting a little closer to that, but it is so hard especially since we have been home and everyone has been cooking us great meals. And now we have razor clams to eat and I am sure tomorrow their will be something else good. But nothing is as good as fried razor's!!

Donna,
I am still laughing about Herm not knowing your eye color! Thank you for sharing that story. That is so funny!
