The Holidays Season is here with lots of fun activities. Tonight we had a Holiday Open House at the Club House. Mom was asked to play the piano for the singing of Christmas Carols. Actually they didn't ask her they asked me me if she would do it and I said "why sure she would love too". She was not so sure when I called and told her she would be the main entertainment. She knows that we have two professional piano players in the park. They have gotten to old (neither one is 80 yet) and their fingers are stiff. I knew that what she doesn't have in technique she has in enthusiasm and she could do it and they would love her. After lots of begging she finally agreed and once she was introduced and she heard the applause she was ready to go. She took a big bow and put on some Elton John glasses with disco balls hanging from the side and gave us all a good show. She amazes me of what she can do at 84.
This weekend Terry & Julie were up for a couple of days, Julie and I tried to make a little extra Christmas $$ so we could buy all of our kids big presents. Don't get excited Kids, it was not a huge success I don't think I made enough to pay for the yarn. But will probably do it again next year. People loved Herms magic wallets, they were a really good seller.
