Sunshine in the Desert

Can't believe that we have been here a week, time fly's by. We are all settled into our house and really enjoying the extra space. The coach is back in storage and waiting to be cleaned.  I still love traveling and spending summers in the motorhome, but boy having a real kitchen is really nice.  Since we have been back the weather has been wonderful, today it will be in the 90's. Every morning we have woken up to a blue sky and that is the way I like to start my day.
Last week Mark, Charmia and kids came for a visit, it was perfect for us. Mark helped his Dad get a few things done like getting the timers to the garden lights and water sprinklers to come on at the correct time.  I don't know what happens when we leave but when we came back the lights were going on during the day.  A lot of our time was spent eating, Casey loves to cook and we love to eat. She made Beer Bread with her Papa watching. We are now using more beer for baking than drinking. Along with the bread she made us a lot of deserts which were all yummy.

The boys are cooking breakfast outside.

Charmia loved watching the golfers she would sit on the patio and cheer them on.  She also practiced her chipping and putting.
The golf course is in the middle of scalping, tomorrow it will be closed until Nov. 12th and they will replant it with the winter grass. Last year we were amazed at how fast it grew and turned green. But for now it looks and smells like a dried prairie grass.

We went out for hamburgers and they were so big we could hardly get our mouths around them.

They put new wheels on my bike, it is ready to go.  I have not taken it out for a ride yet, I still remember my crash last year. Mom told me she sure hoped that I was not going to get back on that again, she also said "I think that you might be a little clumsy". I am starting to think that too.

Mark took the bike for a spin to see if it would buck him off.
