The New Shower

Here we all are standing in the new shower, and we had room for more.  It doesn't take much for us to have a good laugh.
We had our bathroom redone while we were gone this summer. When we bought our house I told Herm that I had two things I wanted to change, the kitchen ceiling and a new bathroom.  After the motorhome I was looking forward to a nice large shower and our house shower was even smaller than in the motorhome. Last Spring when Herm was taking his shower  the shampoo bottle fall on his toe he decided that there was no need to wait and we would have the shower done while we were in Oregon for the Summer.
We removed the garden tub and old shower and just made one huge one. It is large enough that it does not need a shower door.  At one end of the shower is the drying and lotion area with a bench, the bench is sure cold to sit on.

Here is Gordon the carpenter doing our ceiling in the kitchen, he did such of a great job that we hired him for the bathroom. He did not disappoint us, we showed him a picture of a shower that I liked and gave him a free hand to make the decisions. We  checked out other work that he had done and knew we would be happy. He even selected the color of paint for the walls.  I really hate deciding those things, we did pick out the granite, tile and fixtures.  What a treat to come home and have everything done and to be so pleased with the job.  Now, he just needs to stop by and collect his money.  We have been here for nearly a month and he is in no hurry to be paid.

With all of the glass I feel like I am a fish in the Newport Aquarium, but don't want to see anybody standing at the viewing window.
We installed a rain head, it has so much water coming out that you nearly need a snorkel. I think that we might have gone to big.
