Summer Is Finally Here

 What a difference the SUN makes, everyone seems to be walking around with a smile on their faces. I thought the rain was never going to stop.  Life is good again, we can now go outside and enjoy the patio.
We went to Ocean Park this week to see Roy & Bev, it was even sunny and warm at the beach. We had a fun time with lots of laughs.  Roy's yard looks like a State Park, every year the lawn keeps expanding. I guess because they have lost so many trees from the winter storms.

Bev is a board member for the Ladies of the Moose, her calendar is pretty full. She is putting together a cookbook, it is now at the publishers and will be ready in time for Christmas. I am ordering a couple, I hear that she has put a lot of family recipes in it. This is for a Moose fundraiser, to help with the cost she sold raffle tickets for a picnic basket and made $575.00.  That was the day we arrived and she was one pooped out girl but she had a big smile on her face. 

 

 Today Wendy and family surprised us with a short visit.  Herm fired up his grill and did hotdogs. Bethy finished her hotdog and immediately said  "now what do you have for dessert".  She is just like her Grandma, biring on the sweets.
