This has been a busy social week for me, It started on Monday with a nearly all day meeting and lunch. We were busy planning for next years calendar of activities and getting people to chair the events. Wednesday I golfed for the first time with the women s group. Lucky for me, it was a scramble. I was having a great time and thought that the game ended way to soon, but my partner said she thought the game would never end. Hope that I was not the reason for that. The ladies golf club here is really active, the oldest member is 93 and she also golfed on Wed.
Yesterday it was the Mad Hatters Tea, we need to wear a crazy hat that we decorated. I should start asking for ideas for these things. The only thing crazy I could come up with was lots of flowers and to hang tea bags on my hat. Some of the hats were pretty funny. We played lawn games and blew bubbles and ended it with a nice luncheon and fashion show.
While I was off having fun, Herm was home doing the chores. He vacuumed, mopped the floors and did the grocery shopping. I am so darn lucky!!
