Poor Herm, sometimes he probably wonders why he keeps me around. I am more trouble than I am worth. He has had to do most everything this week, including baking 4 pies for a Ladies Social. It has been 6 days since that bike took a quick turn and bucked me off, each day my arm is feeling better, but I still can not do a lot of things.
We are really enjoying the house, it is great for entertaining. This week Terry & Julie came and spent a couple of nights with us. It is only a 2 1/2 hour drive from Yuma. Last night we went out to dinner with our old neighborhood from Outdoor Resorts and invited them over for desert after dinner. It is easy for me to say come on over, and then tell Herm "guess you should bake a couple of pies". He is becoming a excellent baker, I can throw my apron away.
We have my Mom's room all ready she will be arriving today and will be spending the winter with us, or until she misses her friends and her dancing. I am sure she will be out knocking on doors and meeting the neighbors and will quickly have a new circle of friends.
