Crookston Minnesota

We found this City Park with RV hookups in Crookston MN, it is on the Red Lake River. So far it is just us and 1 tent here for the night. That sure is to bad because it is such of a scenic setting.
The scared trees were caused this past winter from the ice when the ice dam broke and flooded the park. The average winter temp is a low -0- and high is 17 degrees. Today it is a beautiful spring day. The lilic trees here are just now in full bloom.

This beautiful church with the three steeples is next to the park.

We feel so lucky to be parked tonight with no damage to the coach. It was a day of deer running wild on the road. We blew the airhorn at one deer and he took off and nearly ran into a man working in his garden. The deer turned and was ready to run out in front of us again. That was just outside of Duluth. Could not begin to count how many dead deer we saw along the road.
When we first started off this morning in Wisconsin a black bear was standing next to the road. Although the roads here are excellent with very little traffic it was still an exciting and stressful drive.

Are you sure you are not in Montana (I am a native, not sure if you knew that)? That kind of wildlife craziness happens all the time there!
