We had another great day, several people have told us to be sure and go to Silver Dollar City. This is a huge amusement park. We were really wondering if it was worth the price of $48.00 each since we would probably not be doing any rides. But when we found out that they were having a Bluegrass festival we decided to go. We spent the entire day there and heard some really good music. It is probably 400-500 acres that are all natural with lots of trees. It is done in the early America theme, with everyone dressed in period costumes. They have 10 venues for music and each stage would seat 600 + people. We listened to 9 different bands preforming for about 45 minutes each.
We are really enjoying our time here in Branson, I am so lucky that Herm loves to do these things.
The good things just keep coming, tonight we are sitting here and watching the fireflies.
Good old Southern humor, we are really enjoying the hospitality of the South.
They called this the barn swing.
