Hi All

I know that I haven't posted for awhile, but sometimes you don't do anything worthy of a post. That has been what our life has been like for the last few weeks. We have been sitting in front of the TV watching the stock market and wondering if the sale of the building would go through or not with the economy going down . We heard from the buyer last week and he is still planning on closing Oct. 21st. So that is a big yippee for us, but we won't do any celebrating until the papers are signed.
Dave and Gayle came for a visit this weekend and that really perked us up, it was just what we needed.
Dave is in the middle of a major downstairs remodel, so far he has removed all the sheet rock in the living room ceiling. He is getting it ready for his new 42"Panasonic plasma television with a sony surround sound. He is going to build new cabinets that will enclose his new fireplace insert. Now, when you see Dave please don't ask him when the project will be finished unless you want to see him frown.
This weekend Dave and Herm spent two days shopping for the new electronics. Dave paid and Herm was there to give support and to soak up information. Someday we may be buying a new TV.
They did not need any help from Gayle and I so we went to the mall and Ikea for a girls shopping day. This afternoon they left town with the Buick loaded, they could not fit another thing in the trunk or backseat.
It is amazing how your attitude changes when you turn off the TV and go out into the real world, we were surprised to see the stores so crowded and people were still shopping with long lines at the restaurants. So if you are sitting home and are worrying about the future just turn off the TV go the mall for a shopping trip. It made me feel better.
