Goodby Crapper Hello CRV

Yes, we have a shiny new Honda CRV. It is time to say goodbye to our Chevy Tracker. This is a blog about all the good memories and places the old car has taken us.
My very special Aunt June who passed away a couple of years ago, but left us with a lot of good memories and the good times we had with her are still with us. When we decided that we wanted to sell the housboat and live fulltime in a RV, she was the only one who understood and totally supported us. She had a pickup and camper for many years and knew what the RV life was like. She was so excited about our adventures and would call us every Sunday to find out where we were. When we bought the Tracker she called to find out what tow car did we decide upon, I told her we bought a Chevy Tracker. Well, Aunt Junes hearing was not the best and she would never wear her hearing aides she heard it as we bought a Crapper. She called Nancy to give her the news Nancy told her that she was sure that it was not a Crapper but was probably called a Tracker. June said no Donna said it was a Crapper. We all had a good laugh and from that day it has been called The Crapper.
That little Crapper has been one of the best cars that we have owned, we bought it in 2003 and have driven it for just about 100,000 miles and have towed it for 40,000 miles. It has never failed to start and have not had to do any repairs at all. Although it does seem like every year it needs new tires. It may not have had a very comfortable ride but it was always reliable and not one rattle. Every car that we have ever owned has always ended up with a least one annoying rattle but not the Crapper.
We have driven that little car to Puerto Vallarta 3 times , this year we will be driving again but it will be in our new car. I am sure in time and after 100,000 miles we will have a lot of good memories with the little Honda.
We are so glad that it will still be in the family, tomorrow we are giving it to Doug.
