Things We Miss

We do love our Gypsy way of living, following the warm weather. Herm's rule is: if he has to wear long pants more than 3 days it is time to pull in the slides and head for some sun. But when we are traveling we do miss a lot of family activities like Rudy's birthday, it has been years since we have been home for Rudy's birthday. His other Grandparents are always there to help him celebrate and I am kind of jealous. This past Sunday we decided to have a family dinner in honor of his Birthday. He was so pleased and asked for Papa to fix him fried rice. We even sang "Happy Birthday" and he blew out some pretend candles. I think that we will celebrate his January birthday in June every year. Now we will need to figure out a time to celebrate Casey's Febuary birthday.
