We are spending Mothers Day weekend with Mark & Charmea. We have not seen our California grandkids since last summer and that is way to long. Today is Challeighs birthday (19), we are so lucky to be here to celebrate with her. Casey is now 11 and Herman is 12. This is a very wired family, everyone has a cellphone, ipod, wii, and every electronic game there is. It is so much fun for us discovering what is new. The kids have been busy showing us how to play. I have had a good workout today, just finished playing a game of tennis on the wii. That is so much fun, I have been thinking about taking tennis lessons. Maybe I will practice a little more on the wii before I make a huge commitment.
This morning Mark took Hermie, Herm and I on a 4 mile hike. I have posted some pictures. We went to lake Chabot which is only 5 miles from their house. It is a huge park with many miles of hiking trails. We are planning on going again tomorrow, and trying to figure out how to get Casey to join us. She is not sure about a hike, we are bribing her with Jamba Juice but she is not showing much interest.
