We just returned from the store, and these two things made us both chuckle. First is the dog in the stroller. We have seen this several times here. These strollers are made just for dogs. Romeo loves it, would rather ride than walk.
Then we are diving and come upon Elvis.
Elvis was just cruising along listening to his tunes. I rolled down my window stuck my head out and hollered "Hey Elvis" so that I could get a better picture. He took me for just another paparazzi and sped off. I could not get Herm to chase him down.

His visors are shaped like a guitar and one is personalized with Elvis and the other is Priscilla.
Another 100+ degree day here, and 3% humidity. I think it is time to start our way North before we totally dry up. Today even my eyeballs feel dry, fortunately the evenings are wonderful and we usually will get a cool breeze. Last night it got down to 76 which is perfect.
I think that I prefer the heat to those really windy days with the blowing dust.
We are planning on leaving here in a week on May 5th.
