We Miss You Dave & Gayle

We just got back from taking Gayle & Dave to the airport, what a perfect week they picked for visiting us.  The weather was perfect we even had one 90 degree day and the rest were in the 70's.
London Bridge
This past week seemed like we were on vacation too. It was a busy week we took a trip to Lake Havasu for two nights to visit Roy & Bev. We have driven through Lake Havasu but have never spent any time there, this is where the London Bridge is now located.  Lots to do there, we took a boat ride on the Colorado River to the Casino. We also drove to Oatman AZ, which is a old mining town. Everyday the wild donkeys come to town for the tourists to feed, the town is over run with them.  If it wasn't for the donkeys there would be no visitors and probably not town.  Funny how far we will go to see a Jack Ass.

Those are $1.00 on the wall, there is over $70,000 with tourists names on them.
NO NO Dave, this not to be used for tip $$

No! he is not shooting at us

Fuzzy Face Roy

I told Gayle that we would be like a spa vacation and we would do lots of physical activities, and we did keep BUSY.  We started our day off with water aerobics, then walking and shopping, bocce ball, and pool.  We were to wore out to make it to Zumba. We also made time to go to the Follies and a 50th Wedding Anniversary Party for our friends Tom & Mamie.
We are in a bocce ball league, Dave & Gayle came to watch us play and to cheer us on.  Dave stepped in and did the measuring to see which ball was closer, even with Dave's help we still lost.  We have now lost 3 games in a row.  That does not make us very happy, even if it is our first year of playing.  I sure hope that we win at least one game this season.
While Gayle & I were shopping Herm & Dave spend their time golfing.  This morning Herm had a awsome game he had 5 pars and 1 birdie and Dave still beat him by 5 strokes.  But the good news was "no broken windows".

Gayle is relaxing after her morning swim.

Soaking up that last bit of sun before getting on the plane

Tonight our house is very quiet, and we are very tired, we all played really hard and that makes a perfect week of vacation for everyone.
