Liberal Kansas

Today the cows in the field mooing woke up us, that is a very nice sound to wake up to. It brought back lots of pleasant memories.
This town may be called Liberal but it is conservative. They must not sell any make-up in this town because I am the only one that I have seen with it on. We went to the grocery store and did we ever stand out. Herm in his shorts (it was 81 degrees) and I had on make-up and was wearing my bangles. They probably thought I was a retired hooker but the people were still very friendly to us.
We visited the air museum here, they have over 100 planes on display. Liberal was the home of Beechcraft Air. Kansas is the airplane capitol of the world Moony, Piper, Cessna and Lear are all made here in Kansas. (See I paid attention).
What is surprising is that with all those high end aircraft that they don't even have a Starbucks or any latte stands.
