Memorial Day

What a rainy Memorial Day, but it did not rain while we were at  the cemetery for a visit with our loved ones that are no longer with us.
We also had very little rain while we played golf, only a refreshing sprinkle. This was my first time playing at at big course.  We only played 9 holes, but I sure had a work out. Herm says I play like a tweener, it is half golf and the other half is croquet. I am all over the course from side to side.  One shot hit a huge rock and the ball flew back and landed 20 yards behind me, It nearly hit me.

Today we were invited to a Champagne Breakfast Buffet at Nancey's, along with 42 other friends. Ron and Nancy thought it would be a great way to kick off the summer, I am sure when they started to plan this they never thought that it would be raining so hard and most people would end up being in the middle of their kitchen . The
food was great and it all turned out very well. They did a huge amount of work for this, I wonder if they will do it again next year.
