Prickly Cactus

The Homeowners Landscaping committee approved us for planting some cactus in our yard. And we sure do need something to put among the pink rocks.
Our house has no street appeal, the only thing in the front yard are 3 puny Palm Trees. Herm has been fertilizing the Palms and they are starting to come to life.
Yesterday we went to the nursery and did our buying, it did not take Herm more than 15 minutes before he was driving his dream machine, a "Kubota Tractor" around the nursery. He is always saying he wants some land so he can have a Kubota This is as close as he will get to owning one.
We had so much fun seeing all the different cactus and listening to the Marachi Music blaring from their radio. By the time we left the place we felt like we had visited Mexico and had a new person to call our Amigo. So many choices and so little ground.
Today they were delivered and Jesus and his wife did the job of planting. I would not get near those prickly things but they were delighted to get the job and had no problem at all of wrestling those cactus into the ground.
We really wanted a large Saguaro with arms but they cost $150.00 a ft. so we changed our mind and bought one with out arms.
