Now Where Did I Put It??

We are all unpacked now, but not organized yet. I need to open up 5 drawers before I find where I put it.
The house looked great, they left it in perfect condition. It looked so nice when we walked in. It does not yet feel like it is our home. She left the picture frames on the wall so the nail holes would not show (She did remove the pictures).

Rosemarie would be shocked if she could see that we were sitting on the couch and walking on the carpet. Last Spring she showed us how to open the curtains with out leaving footprints on the
carpet.

.

I am not a pastel color lady, I am a Gypsy and love bight colors. A lot of my favorite plates and wall hangings look hysterical with all of her tasteful and sedate accessories. Yesterday we took 6
boxes to Goodwill, and will have more.

Herm is in Heaven, he has his own room which he calls his Sanctuary. I must ask his permission to make any changes in there. I had some great decorating ideas but he said he will take care of that. I just hope that he will buy a chair so that I can sit in there with him. He is trying to decide if he wants to hang the TV or to buy a entertainment center.
Things are so different living in a house compared to the motorhome, the biggest thing is that we can not always hear one another when we talk. And I am not used to all of this walking and we have not even been outside yet. It looks like we will be staying inside for the next 5 days, the weather here is really hot (108).

It is easy to tell which is her picture and which is mine. lol

I bet 20 years ago Herm never thought that his hotrod would be a golfcart.

I'm with you, more color is always better! Herm's sanctuary comment made me laugh out loud!!

Wow! 108!! that is hot. It looks like you are really going to make it into YOUR home. I am sure it will be a while before it feels like yours, but maybe sooner than you think. I am sure it is different than a motorhome or a houseboat.. Hope to see you at Uncle Paul's 90th Bash in Enumclaw.
