June 6th and we woke up to snow. I am dreaming of Palm Springs!
Last night we went to a outdoor musical. The amphitheater was on top of a butte and the setting was spectacular. The show was great but it was the elk standing on the next hill that stole the show.
We nearly froze, guess we should have some winter parkas with us. Nobody left early because of the weather so we sat and shivered. People from North Dakota are a hardy bunch. It was such of a surprise to have a theater with professional stage backdrops out in the middle of nowhere. The theater seats 2500 and was 2/3 full.
Today our destination was Billings MT. guess we will sit tight and watch the weather channel. It was 32 degrees when we woke up and snowing hard.
