We just returned from a good hike in the mountains. It always feels so good after the hike, but boy do I suffer while we are going up hill. We meet so many people on these hikes and a lot of them are much older than me and they always look so good. I think exercise is the secret. I keep telling my self that it must be good for us. I have always thought that when we walk in Mexico it is good for our balance, all of the uneven surfaces. You never know when you are going to step into a hole or a piece of cement is raised and then the curbs. They have no standard for the curb heights. Well hiking is probably good for the balance too, lots of rocks and then that loose gravel to slip on when coming down. And yes sometimes our butt hits the ground.
Last week we went to the Palm Spring Follies, that is proof that exercise is a good thing. The oldest member of the Follies is 83 and she looked hot!. None of the women were younger than 60. Although there is something unnatural about a women with her boobs filled up with helium. Those girlfriends where pointed straight up to the ceiling. All of these women were gorgeous and had the legs of a 30 year old. This was our 5th visit to the Follies, and when ever we leave I always want to try and see how high I can kick up my legs and want to do a can-can dance.
If you ever visit Palm Springs the Follies are a must. But I do think that you might not appreciate the humor if you are under 50. Sometimes young people just don't get it.

Anyway I had better keep up the exercise and maybe try a little less eating before Herm starts lusting for a 80 year old.
