Walking to the Grocery Store

We only have a few days left here, will be leaving Saturday morning early. It has been a great 2 months here, this is the warmest winter we have ever had here.
We just got back from probably our last walk to the grocery store this year and I am peeing from my face and it is not even noon. On days like this we go to the beach and sit under a palapa where we will have a nice breeze. Life is really good!!
We don't use our car very much for shopping only for going to the shrimp market and liquor store.
When ever we go to the liquor store we usually will take a car load from our building. Each trip it is different people. At the end of two months they know us very well and we are greeted with smiles and usually he always has a free gift for us, he also has started giving us wholesale pricing.
Below are pictures that I took this morning on our way to the GR Rizzo's Grocery store.
When we leave here we will miss being able to walk to really great restaurants and to do the our shopping. We never get tired on the scenery and sometimes a walk to the grocery store can turn into a unexpected adventure.

We usually use the swinging bridge for crossing the river. To bad I did not do a video to the swinging action.

Walking down the island that is lined with little shops.

These two set up their xylophone on the street, hoping to get tips from people eating their breakfast. Mexicans are very musical and many making their living playing in restaurants.

Main street in Old Town "Olas Altas", not very busy.
