We had another great Sunday at La Hurretas in Paso Ancho. We invited Ricardo and Kathy to be our guests. Their family owns the Vallarta Sun Suites where we stay and which Kathy manages and the Vallarta Sun Hotel which Ricardo is in charge of. They are
the nicest young couple and all the men here sure enjoy it when Kathy is at the desk to greet us when we enter.
It was a honor that they would want to come and spend their day off with us.
We all ordered those deadly margaritas that are so good, Ricardo ordered a traditional Mexican Margarita which is totally different than our lime ones. It was a shot of Tequila with lime and than you took a sip of Sangrita. Sangrita has orange juice, chili sauce peppers and a few other things. He said the lime margarita is very gringo. He also got a chuckle when he looked around and discovered he an Kathy were the only Mexican guests, and we always think of this as our Mexican experience.
Yesterday they had a huge crowd, it was so large they were borrowing tables and chairs from anyplace they could find them. They were carrying tables and chairs down the street to bring in. We love the Mariachi music, I warned Kathy that this was a very experienced band. That is a way of saying that they are much older and maybe not so good looking and also they don't look so good in those tight pants. But the music was still nice to hear.
