We just spent 2 days at Terry & Julies house in Yuma, thought you might enjoy some pictures.
They love their winters here in Yuma, nice weather and Julie loves it because it is close to some good shopping. We have other friends that have their second homes in Yuma and they all ask us when are we going to buy in Yuma. And I don't know what to say, we always have a great time while there but Palm Springs is awfully nice too.
When in Yuma the first thing you notice are the brick walls, every yard has a small brick wall and the bricks are unusual with lots of color. These walls are everywhere!!. The first time we went to Yuma we were told these bricks are made out of cow manure, or cow dung and are referred to as sh-- bricks. They are all made just across the border in Mexico. One day we took a trip south into Mexico to find these brick factories. There were no factories, but for about 10 miles you would see in peoples yards bricks drying. We pulled into one place and they were surprised that we would be interested in their making of bricks. He was so proud to have his picture taken and gave us a couple of bricks for souvenirs and no they do not have any odor at all.

Dave, This picture is for you!!
