We spent the weekend with Roy & Bev at their house at the beach. You can see from the pictures that we had a good time. The weather was really good, we spent most of the day outside, we always kept an eye out for the bear, but he must have been scared off from all the loud firecrackers. She has came threw their yard many times and the last time she had 2 cubs with her.
Ocean Park has a traditional 4th of July parade, we where wondering where all the people came from. It drew a huge crowd and lasted only 30 minutes, it had lots of fire trucks, old cars, kids on bikes and local grocery store checkers doing precision maneuvers with their grocery carts the highlight was the Coast Guard helicopter doing a real low fly by.
The rest of the weekend we spent eating, and of course we had a few drinks too. Came home with some new recipes from Bev. It was a perfect way to spend the 4th.
