It's A Hot One

Yesterday it was a 90 degree day, a perfect day to take the raft out. It was so perfect that we did not come home until 11:30 last night. The pictures tell it all.
Mom is such of a tropper, she really does not care to be out on the water but loves looking at it from her deck. We always manage to talk her into joining but when she gets back she kisses the ground. I think last night she felt very lucky to be back on ground again. The old raft is getting up in years but never totally fails us. It has never need a tow, yesterday the battery would not keep a charge so was a real challenge to keep it running.
Nancy is a great captain and spends a lot of time and money on maintaining the raft.

Mount Rainer was spectacular, if you were raised in this area you always look for the Reindeer or others call it the Elkhead. It took a lot of years for me to learn how to spot it. But once you know where to look it is always the first place you look on the mountain.
