Class Reunion & Columbia River RV Park

Sunday was Herms 49th Class Reunion at the Cedarville Lodge, and they had a really good turn out. They usually have the annual reunion in Sept. but this year they moved it to Aug which was great for us. This is always one of the things that we look forward to each summer. It is a day full of good laughs, good stories and lots of good food.
They voted next year to all go to Branson, MO. for their 50th, Kathy and Sharon will handle the details. If it all falls together it will be a really fun time.
Herm is giving Delores Atwood a big hug, this was his girlfriend in 1st grade. He confessed that he liked her because she had a bike. It was on her bike that he learned to ride. She moved out of the area in the 6th grade, they both were happy to see each other again.

Here is Kay, Aunt Charlotte and Kathy, they have laughed themselves into exhaustion.

Columbia River RV Park
For our last month here we are staying at this great RV Park, it is on the Columbia River in Woodland,Wa. I love it here, we can sit in the coach and watch the ships go by. Also we have seen several salmon being caught. In order to stay here we had to have three references and fill out a three page questionnaire. I just hope they let us come back next year. Roy & Bev parked next door to us in their 5th wheel, they stayed for 5 days and we had so much fun. Everyplace Roy goes he always runs into someone he knows and here was no different. Two of the coaches in here he had poured concrete for. Roy & Bev have known the families for years and they were all very surprised to run into each other in the RV Park.
Dave & Gayle came for a day, it was time for Gayle to get out of the house. By the time they left she was pooped out.
And of course Doug, Vick and Boys visited us, we celebrated Rudy's Birthday (6 months early). We started doing it early because we are never here in Jan. and he thinks that is just great to be able to have 2 special days.

Blaze is the families new entertainment, he learned how to swim in the river. He loves fetching sticks in the water. A couple of times he forgot to paddle but quickly bounced up and those little legs were just a running in the water.
