Hummingbirds

This hummingbird rival started last year. Gay & Gordon are the cutest young couple from Victoria they are in the room next door to us. Last year they put up their hummingbird feeder and after watching their success Herm thought he would like one for our balcony. We looked everywhere here in PV for one, we even went to Wallmart. He asked Gayle if she would bring one down for him, she can tell you that it is not easy finding a hummingbird feeder in Jan. but after a lot of shopping she did find one and brought it to us. Herm was so excited but after about 5 days he was a little bummed. Those hummingbirds would not touch our feeder, but Gay's feeder had them lined up and waiting for their turn. He could not figure this out since our balcony's are next to each other, he tied bright ribbons around ours and still nothing. This year we arrive 2 weeks before Gay, the birds are loving our feeder and Herm is delighted. But that does not last long, 2 days ago Gay & Gordon arrive and put up their feeder, those fickle birds have deserted Herm and are now lined up and fighting for space at Gay's feeder. Even the birds appreciate a young beautiful blond women.
